The health center was built.
This building was constructed in 1950 and was originally built as the camp health center. The main building was built with three distinct sections, a large center sections with sections on both ends with slightly lower roofs. Inside, there was a large center section which contained rooms with beds for campers who were ill, as well as examination rooms and offices. On either end of the building were small apartment-style areas which included kitchens, full bathrooms, bedrooms and storage. There were doors located at either end of the center section which lead both to these apartments as well as the health center areas. The building was painted brown with white trim. In the 1980s, this building’s usage changed to house the Administration and Registration offices. A large addition including a large stone fireplace, public restrooms, and reception area was added. Around that same time an addition was added along a portion of the back of the building which added four additional offices as well.
