The Maintenance building was built and was critical to the maintenance work done at Jackson's Mill.

The current maintenance area contains a large wooden building. Originally constructed as an instructional space, classes such as woodworking, blacksmithing and bow and arrow making for archery were held here. Years ago, is was converted into the maintenance shop where the tools, equipment and supplies for the upkeep of the campus were worked on and stored. This area is where the largest and one of the most important departments is housed. Without the vital work on the dedicated maintenance staff, Jackson’s Mill would not be able to run. Additionally, it was in this area where the old water treatment plant for the camp was located. Today Jackson’s Mill is on the local water system, so the building has since been removed.
