When Catherine passed away Jackson's Mill no longer was owned by the Jackson's.
Catherine died and the Jackson family no longer owned the lands and mill with which they were so connected. William and Hulda Moxley purchased the property. They lived in the home for some time, but failed to make payments, which eventually led to the property reverting to Catherine’s heirs, who resold the property.
