WVU Jackson's Mill history begins in 1801.
Founded in 1801, Edward Jackson is living on the property that we now call Jackson's Mill. Although records exist that refer to Edward owning the property prior to this year, the year is generally accepted as the year by which Edward and his family have settled on the land permanently.
